We need to do business and Globalpress' is based strongly on personal relationships, understanding customer needs and fulfilling this need. I have served as a Rotarian in Cupertino for almost 3 years. Rotary was known originally as a bunch of rich old gentlemen smoking their cigars. My club in Cupertino is again lead by a lady who works for Santa Clara University. Her appeal to us Cupertino Rotarians describes well what we do and want we are about.

How do you grasp a business concept that is about relationships and doing good works for people?
Rotary’s assets are its members. Rotarians raise funds to provide the resources - along with our ‘feet on the ground’ efforts - to benefit others with no self interest. The product delivery, if you will, is through what is commonly called the Avenues of Service. It is through the Avenues of Service Committees that Rotary good works are delivered.
This year we have a group of Rotarian’s that we have been calling the 5/Cs: Cupertino Rotary Club Committee Chair Cabinet. These Chairs are working hard to prioritize and deliver outstanding community service – locally and globally! Some of the committee’s are focused internally and some externally.

We meet each Wednesday for lunch and I would like to take more guests to help expand our club.
